  • No Need for Reiki Rules

I absolutely love Reiki for its simplicity. Reiki is the energy of creation in action on the earth plane. It is as simple as placing hands and intending Reiki to flow. That is all that is required. Reiki does not discriminate and dictate who may channel it or who may benefit from it. In fact, there are no beliefs a person must ascribe to, either. It is so natural and simple that any person and even children can successfully learn and practice the healing art of Reiki. However, I’ve become aware that more Reiki teachers and practitioners are choosing to complicate the system of Reiki by redefining it with rules. We can see the effect of this in posts and threads on social media and especially in online groups meant for the purpose of educating people about Reiki. Some insist that in order to be a good Reiki practitioner, one must eat a certain way and if one chooses otherwise, their ability to channel effective Reiki is diminished. Therefore, they have created a system to judge Reiki practitioners based on personal beliefs. Of course, the rules of the right diet are highly debated and subjective. I have read very heated and harsh posts stemming from judgement that get quite personal. The message is one of fear from the implication one cannot be an effective Reiki channel if certain foods and drinks are not excluded from the diet. The judgements and criticisms in these posts are written in an effort to be ‘right’ and validate the authors’ own choices, and therefore, fears. When we insist on being right, we condemn every other person to be wrong. This does not sound like Reiki to me. Some insist we must heal ourselves of chronic illness and not be on any prescription drugs before helping others with Reiki. Therefore, only the healthiest of people are worthy to offer Reiki to others. I recently read a post declaring no one should ever offer Reiki to another if they are tired or stressed and it’s the practitioner’s responsibility to ensure they are at their absolute best for each session, implying that otherwise, they are somehow harming the other person or being irresponsible. If that is true, I’ve been doing it all wrong. And Usui must have as well. After fasting for 21 days, he received Reiki in a weakened physical state, healed and went on to develop the system of Reiki healing—helping countless people. Four years later, he suffered a stroke and died. It is doubtful he could have been in the best physical shape leading up to the stroke and helping people with Reiki. I am certainly very grateful he practiced and taught Reiki regardless. The truth is, if practitioners were required to be healed and without issues prior to offering Reiki to anyone else, we would not be practicing today. Reiki would have died out long ago due to the lack of qualified practitioners and teachers. Furthermore, under these rules, simple aging of our physical bodies would dampen our ability to channel Reiki. Contrary to these ideas, I continue to observe my own relationship and ability to channel Reiki as strengthening over time which, of course, means with increasing age. I know this to be true of fellow practitioners as well. We are human and to expect practitioners to deny this does not feel like Reiki to me. The judgement in the Reiki community continues with more rules concerning what the client is allowed to wear to ensure a good Reiki treatment. To some, it seems that jewelry, watches and leather items must be removed. In fact, I learned this in my first Reiki class and it is still being taught. Now activity trackers like Fitbits have been added to the list of items a client must remove or just leave at home. From the time I learned Reiki in 1995, technology has grown immensely. Consider the fact that we did not have cell phones in those days but today, wi-fi and bluetooth signals invisibly and continuously bathe our bodies. Many believe these wavelengths of energy negatively influence Reiki. However, my own Reiki practice has only grown stronger and delivered better results over time despite the increase of this type of potential negative influence. Honestly, through the years, I did worry about following rules and doing Reiki the ‘right’ way. But when I explored my reasons for feeling like this, I discovered that the rules and any desire I felt to follow them stemmed from fear. I feared that I was not worthy of Reiki because of my human nature so I somehow needed to make up for being not good enough by following rules. Having these fears seemed counter to my understanding of Reiki and prompted me to reexamine my understanding of what Reiki is, my relationship with it and also motivated me to investigate the rules and their potential effects on my Reiki experiences. I experimented with my dietary choices and allowing clients to wear whatever they had on including leather belts, jewelry and Fitbits. I offered Reiki when I felt wonderful and also when I did not feel my best—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I have not found any correlation between the effectiveness of my Reiki treatments with these personal choices or states of being and have released my fears pertaining to doing Reiki the ‘right’ way. I also realized that if I truly believed Reiki required rules like these, I would not continue to practice or teach Reiki. Rules downgrade Reiki into being ordinary and it is not ordinary in the least. Buying into rules creates comparisons, competition, separation and judgment within the Reiki community and that does not feel like Reiki to me. What does feel like Reiki is understanding we are human and Reiki knows this and blesses us not in spite of it but perhaps because of it. Reiki does not judge us. Why would it? Reiki is Source Energy. Is it feasible that Source Energy could be derailed by a diamond ring, a Fitbit or the meat I ate last night? I say no! For that is the Reiki I know and love. The only limitations of Reiki are those we assign to it. In a world full of hurtful judgements and fears of our unworthiness, Reiki offers us the truth of knowing we are enough and always have been. Reiki accepts us as we are and excludes no one. Ever. In my practice, I remind myself, "I am, therefore, Reiki Is.” Pure and simple. And that feels like Reiki to me. I invite you to ask yourself what rules define your Reiki practice and why. I invite you to reevaluate them, question them and determine what is appropriate as you trust Reiki and your relationship with it. And if you choose rules that guide you, I invite you to keep them for yourself and refrain from prescribing them for others. Let us remember what works well for one person may not be appropriate or true for another. It is not up to us to decide or judge, and certainly not in the name of Reiki.

  • Address Stress, Feel Better with Reiki

Stress certainly takes a physiological toll. In fact, the National Institutes of Health reports that “emotional stress is a major contributing factor to the six leading causes of death in the United States: cancer, coronary heart disease, accidental injuries, respiratory disorders, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.”1 In addition, the National Council on compensation of insurance reports “up to 90% of all visits to primary care physicians are for stress-related complaints.”1 Are you doing enough to heal effects of stress or are you simply coping? Consider adding Reiki to your self-care practices. It is a Japanese stress-reducing technique based on the energy anatomy of the body (similar to acupuncture) and is non-invasive, painless, cannot do harm and is a complement to traditional medical care—not an alternative or replacement. How does Reiki Help with Stress? The stress you face everyday coupled with deeper emotional hurts and traumas you may carry actually effects the way your life force energy (also referred to as chi or ki) flows in and around your body. When this flow isn’t adjusted and maintained in a balanced way, symptoms arise. These symptoms may be on emotional, mental or physical levels and can manifest to include anything from inability to focus, irritability, anxiety, depression, and physical pain and disease. A Reiki practitioner places her hands lightly on or just off your fully-clothed body to balance the life force energy that all living things possess. Clients usually feel extremely relaxed and may fall asleep. When this energy begins flowing the way it is designed to, you may begin to feel more positive, connected to life, grounded, balanced and more able to focus. These benefits often last long after the session. Evidence for Reiki Reiki is shown to impact how the nervous system operates.2 It shifts the nervous system out of the fight or flight mode of operation that triggers cortisol release and damaging physiological changes. Then the parasympathetic nervous system takes over. It is in this state that your body enters into the rest and restore mode that allows your cells to recover and repair themselves as the body is naturally designed to do. Your immune system can then better support you in maintaining health and feeling better in general. The sources of stress can seem endless. Fortunately, you can choose strategies to help you heal the damage done and prevent further imbalances from stress. Reiki may support you in feeling better and when you feel better, everything feels better. Article written for and published in the Natural Awakenings Magazine-January 2018 issue. • How to Make a 'Right' Decision

I think therefore I am. I feel therefore I am. I grew up resonating with the first statement. It was important to think logically, carry out what I thought were responsible behaviors, get the best grades with my thinking mind because, obviously, you can’t feel your way to good grades. Everything I did, came from my belief that thinking was the way to success. Some years later, I now see how thinking is so limiting. For example, if we try to think ourselves toward a goal, it may start off well but the plan we made with our thinking mind is misinformed as soon as we move on from the starting point. This is true because once we move along the path we can receive new information which informs a new perspective. So how we thought it was going to go prior may or may not be true of the current situation. We can simply think again and apply logic to the new situation but often logic does not lead us to what is in our highest good. Perhaps the best place to go isn’t one we could think of. I mean, we don’t know all the possibilities, right? So if we are not supposed to think up the route to solve a problem what are we supposed to do? Feeling your way through is another approach. Assess how it feels to be where you are then imagine possible steps forward (dream—don’t just rely on what you think). Then check in to see how each one feels to you. What does your inner feeling tell you to do? Choose by feeling and then move and repeat the process as you evaluate each new current situation. Does that mean that thinking is bad? Of course not. Thinking can get us so far but to fulfill our potential we need a balance between thinking and feeling. Many of us shut down or discounted our feeling side in childhood but feeling broadens our perspective and our power to move forward in innovative, meaningful ways. Try this! Next time you feel stuck in trying to make a decision between two options, imagine a trusted advisor appears and tells you the first option is no longer available. You MUST accept choice #2. Tune into your body and emotions. Notice how you feel about proceeding with that choice. Now, clear your mind. Imagine the trusted advisor tells you the other choice is off the table and you must accept choice #1. Tune in again and notice your body and emotions. You’ve done it! It’s that easy to feel your way along your path. Will you follow what your inner guidance has revealed to you? That is up to you but now you have more information to make the choice rather than relying on thinking alone.

  • It's Time for Reiki if...

If you are like most people, we tend to put ourselves on the back burner, so to speak, in order to work, care for our loved ones and tend to all our responsibilities. We put all these things at the top of our priority list and over time, our bodies get out of whack with aches, pains and symptoms. Our minds begin screaming at us for some relief and then we begin looking for solutions. We talk to people, go online to research, and see our doctors. But opinions, recommendations and what might work for other people often contradicts. That all makes everything more confusing. So, we find ourselves tapped of energy and have motivation to act but are unsure how best to help ourselves. And that’s really the key. That’s when to consider Reiki. You see, Reiki “guided life-force energy” knows what to do to support your wellbeing. You don’t have to have a clue about how to help yourself except to make that appointment for Reiki and to show up. Amazingly, a Reiki practitioner doesn’t have to know what you’ve been going through in order to help you, either. Through simply allowing the Reiki to flow in and around you, it just works…It knows exactly where to go and what to do without our interference. And remarkably, your body responds on all levels because this energy we call Reiki is already a part of you because you are a living being. There is really nothing at all foreign about Reiki, except possibly experiencing your first Reiki treatment. For the length of a Reiki session, you can simply lay quietly, relax and be willing to accept better for yourself. For example, feeling physically and emotionally better, getting more nights of better sleep that allows your body to naturally repair itself, experiencing better mental clarity, handling stress in better ways, having a better outlook and attitude toward life, and the list goes on. Best of all, there is no deciding or figuring out anyone needs to do. Reiki helps because that's what Reiki does. All by itself. - You suffer with pain or chronic illness - Sleep quality is poor - Anxiety is affecting your life - You get sick frequently - You can’t let go of the past - Anger comes easily to you - You must undergo chemotherapy or other medical procedures - Feeling rundown is the norm - You care for someone who is ill - High stress dominates your days - You feel overwhelmed with life - You simply want to feel better Of course, Reiki does not ever replace seeing healthcare professionals for diagnosis and treatment but works in tandem with traditional care to support your improvement, healing and wellbeing. • Deliberate Wellness

What have you done today to create wellness for yourself? Wellness of the mind, body and spirit does not happen by accident but we make dozens of small choices every day that either create wellness or the opposite of wellness which is a state of dis-ease. It’s true that we are resilient beings and our bodies can put up with quite a bit. But what if they didn’t have to? What if we made a conscious effort to create wellness in our lives through our food and drink, our mental habits and the care of our bodies? Think about that for a moment. Imagine how that would feel. Creating wellness consciously through choice. Perhaps you are already doing that with diet and self-care practices like Reiki, massage, counseling, and/or regular physical activity to list a few examples. Is there more to do? If you’ve been wanting to create wellness in more deliberate ways, why not now? If not now, when? When will you be ready or decide you are worth the effort? (Hint: You’ve always been worth it!) It’s really not a big undertaking to consciously create wellness. Changing our mind about one thing is a step. That matters. We’re never all the way here, doing everything possible to support ourselves. Instead, it’s a dance we partake in. After all, we have full lives and it’s important to remember that and balance is what we seek. Most of what we do each day, takes an effort. But creating wellness with Reiki doesn’t require much. Come for an appointment and just lay. Relax and be open to positive change. That’s really it. Rebalance the energy that is instrumental in how we feel and how we perceive our experiences and relationships. Reiki is something we can engage in as recipients or as practitioners. It truly takes little effort but supports us on all levels—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. We don’t have to understand exactly what it is doing or how. We know it does no harm and shifts our nervous system to the rest and restore mode—a welcome respite from the now normal stress state we seem to inhabit constantly. So, at the end of each day, you are invited to ask and reflect. What have you chosen in the last 24 hours to create wellness for you? How you feel is no accident. Choose well. Be well. Live well and Reiki On. Namasté #Reiki #Wellness

  • Does Reiki energy evolve?

I'm inspired to jot down my thoughts as I'm preparing my materials for my upcoming Reiki Master workshop. It is always a blessing for me to teach. To be chosen as a person's Reiki instructor is an honor. While that may sound sappy to some, I truly mean it. To be involved with and witness a new beginning or deepening with master level training is a privilege and a humbling experience. Though our class is over in three days, I offer my support and guidance to my students no matter how much time may pass. Reiki is a path offering much beyond the obvious benefits of allowing ourselves to help others and ourselves with Reiki energy. If we are willing, Reiki will gently light our way to self-discovery, healing, awareness and much more. You may learn Reiki in a day or two but practicing is for life. Literally. Reiki eases the harshness and enhances all experiences, bringing a sort of comfort and peace to us. Because Reiki causes no harm, the applications and situations for its use are limitless. My classes are Usui/Holy Fire II Reiki classes. Some may wonder what the difference is and why I have moved on from the Usui/Tibetan style. Like us, Reiki energy has the potential to evolve. Even Usui Sensei himself knew this. He defined 6 levels of Reiki. The sixth being where one would begin practice and the first being the strongest and deepest level. He claimed himself at level two and encouraged others to seek greater heights than he had mastered.* He left it to us to refine the energy and improve upon the strength and quality of the Reiki of his time. We have done just that. It is important for those with Reiki to practice and refine their own ability to channel higher vibrations of Reiki through their own healing. As we do this, we are capable of working with higher frequencies of Reiki energy which allows for better results. Today, through the development of various styles of Reiki, this healing art is practiced by millions around the world. With so many dedicated to the practice of Reiki, it is no wonder we are capable of channeling higher, more refined frequencies than ever before. After all, if the Universe/God is unlimited and Reiki comes from this Source, it too is unlimited as its expression. I have seen my own sessions with others and my self-care results improve and become deeper through Holy Fire II Reiki. I feel that more of our higher consciousness is involved when we practice now when compared to my earlier years. There is a wisdom and a connection now that I was largely unaware of before or perhaps only glimpsed at times. My awareness has most certainly increased and still continues to do so. As I continue on my own Reiki journey and welcome all newcomers to Reiki as well as continuing students to class, I can only be excited to know that this evolution will continue. There certainly shall be more wonder and joyous experiences ahead for all of us on the Reiki path. Namasté Andrea Kennedy began practicing Reiki in 1995. • Trouble meditating? Call on Reiki!

I’ve never been a good meditator but I have a helper on my side called Reiki and today I saw what Reiki can bring to meditation in a very clear way. We’ve all heard doctors, scientists and gurus espousing the numerous benefits of meditation for mind, body and spirit. Years ago, I turned their evidence into “shoulds” and, as a result, I tried, I really tried to incorporate a regular meditation practice into my life. After all, isn’t that what a spiritual person is supposed to do? Add to that, my “label” of Reiki Master and the fact that I teach Reiki. So, who was I NOT to be a great meditator, right? I used to use that question in an attempt to guilt me into meditating. But let’s be real. If Oprah and Deepak couldn’t lure me into a regular practice then that negative guilt approach wasn't going to work either. However, I did study many types of meditation over the years with spotty success but a regular practice was just not a priority for me. My latest attempt at establishing a more disciplined meditation practice involves a local weekly mindfulness group I attend when my schedule allows. I've attended perhaps 7 times in the last few months. I certainly enjoy the lovely people attending and sitting with me but I haven’t felt as though I was really following the plan, so to speak. Usually, I allow Reiki to flow and quietly do my own thing. I’m sure I don’t have the mindfulness idea "right" but I show up and that’s a positive step. Besides, no one knows how empty or full my mind is (except me) and I enjoy my time there with these people and their input when we have time to share. Today was so grand and unexpected, however. The truth and depth of my practice washed over me this morning and my awareness opened in a surprising way. For the whole sitting time, I couldn’t stop smiling and my head seemed to move around a lot as if it was dancing to a soft flow of music that even I couldn't hear. At least everyone had their eyes closed but even if they didn’t, it wouldn’t have bothered me one bit. Not in the least. I was so in the flow of Reiki and so tuned in, the joy and stillness and awareness was palpable and all I knew. Until a baby outside the room screamed. As the observer, I noticed how I winced very mildly at the sudden and uncomfortable sound. I found my reaction interesting and then let it go. Silence. In the flow... Screaming. This time, however, I was so serene as the sound pierced the room and my awareness was clear. In that moment, I did not hear a baby scream. Instead, I heard pure emotion being fully expressed. The baby held nothing back and had no worry what anyone thought about her or her behavior. She was simply allowing the emotion to release and express without limitation. It was beautiful. Really beautiful. For as long as it continued, I had no thoughts about it, just simple and powerful feelings of joy as I witnessed her pure expression. Of course, in my thinking mind, I could have had many thoughts and judgements and labels for the situation and the child but I simply did not. I was present to something much higher. After the exercise, as we tuned into each other to share our reflections, I recalled a favorite quote by Rumi. I realized I had been there…in the field…and it was pure wonder and brilliance and joy. I kept that smile for some time after the meditation and realized that indeed, I do meditate. I just seem to do it my way and with Reiki flowing, the experience is truly like a gift. For like a gift, it is unexpected and it stirs gratitude within me. I am thankful. Andrea Kennedy began practicing Reiki in 1995. She sees clients and teaches all levels of Reiki in Saline, Michigan. • How Emotions have Ruled your Life

Are all our problems rooted to our emotions? Here's the case for "Yes!" Our earliest interactions with parents, family and others elicit emotions and then beliefs which create patterns that dictate how we cope and navigate life. In particular, these patterns also shape our perceptions of who we are including our sense of worthiness and how flawed we believe ourselves to be. As a result, what began as emotion leads each of us to create a unique sort of computer-like operating system based on these early experiences. How we relate to others and function in the world largely depends on the operating system and shapes our lives in unlimited ways. This is mostly unconscious because our operating system is camouflaged and intertwined with who we are at our core but we can't separate it out and most don't know where to start. It really feels like us! When we are under stress, the default to the operating system is enforced and we can react with great speed. Think of an argument you had. In the heat of the moment, how did you do? After it was over and you were in the review phase of what occurred, did you ask yourself why you said certain things? I bet you were so wise and could think of many higher options you wish you said or did instead of saying what flew out of your mouth. Furthermore, it's probably quite true that you have reacted and said very similar things before. But if we know better when we are calm, why do we default back to the old stuff? Simply put, we haven't dismantled the patterns that make up our current operating system. With increased awareness, we begin to wake up to the fact that the operating system is outdated and no longer supports us in who we want to be now. Our spirits and minds evolve but the system doesn't keep up. The discord between who we want to be now versus the person we are hearing inside our heads and witnessing through interactions with others becomes uncomfortable. As that gap widens, we often begin to feel anxious, disconnected, confused and perhaps lost. We very much want to reconcile the two ways of being but aren't sure what to do. Reiki has been the bedrock and foundation of my own progress in dismantling my personal operating system and I see it work with clients, too. Somehow, without even knowing all the programming that makes up someone's patterns and the originating emotions behind them, Reiki has a way. Reiki helps us relax into new ways of perceiving ourselves and opens our systems up to new, more balanced ways to be. As we allow an easing to take place, possibilities are there which had previously been unrecognized. Nothing really changes except our own state of being. Did you catch that? It sounded pretty mundane and boring as I typed it. But let me repeat that... Through Reiki our state of being changes. That's pretty big. You see, Reiki isn't about changing your family and life to fit what you think they need to be. After all, that is prescribed by your own operating system. Reiki is about you. It's about addressing that operating system that keeps you limited in your perceptions and experiences which also effects those you interact with. But don't worry. We all do it. It's who we've been. Reiki is inviting us to close the gap between who we choose to be in the present with who we have been as a result of our operating system. Through Reiki, we can make progress in living in accordance with our evolving self. As a result, we feel more at ease, more connected to life, more authentic and relaxed--and from this place, more joy rushes in. Andrea Kennedy began practicing Reiki in 1995. • Reiki Reconnects You with Yourself

People who take the steps to learn Reiki are driven by any number of reasons. Some want to help animals in their own home or perhaps in a shelter situation. Others want to use Reiki to soothe their children, help a loved one with a chronic condition, or themselves. My students usually explain their desire to learn Reiki as primarily about assisting others—being of service to others. The unexpected gift of Reiki is its power to reconnect us with ourselves. It’s an unforeseen benefit that is subtle, gentle and allows us to look back in wonder as we compare who we are today with who we were before we learned and practiced Reiki. As we practice Reiki, we begin to become Reiki. It isn’t about Doing Reiki anymore, but it can be difficult to describe that concept to Reiki newcomers. Instead of doing Reiki ‘on’ a person, we allow ourselves to become an anchor point on earth for Reiki to become present in our dense world. Our role is not to ‘fix’ anything or anyone because nothing and no one is really broken or ‘less than.’ We simply offer the vibration for others to resonate with, heal with, actually reboot with. Or not. You see, it is not the person in the role of ‘healer’ doing anything other than offering the energetic vibration of what Reiki is. All the results are the choice and acceptance (through energetic resonation) of the person or animal in the presence of Reiki. The body’s physical parts, along with the emotional, mental and spiritual components of Who We Are know exactly what to do all the time and life-force energy is the common denominator of all living things. To set time aside to be in the flow of Reiki for ourselves or offering it to another is all that is needed. There are no special requirements. We learn Reiki to be of service. We practice Reiki and reconnect with ourselves and offer reconnection for others—so they may remember themselves in wholeness. Our simple practice of Reiki in our own lives is a source of Light in this world. It adds to this plane in positive ways and calls to others with a frequency of energy beckoning them back to themselves. To who they really are. In wholeness. In love. Living our lives as we remember our wholeness is a gift unto others. Reiki invites you there. • Is Reiki Enough?

We know what Reiki is—spiritually guided life energy. That’s it. Reiki is the energy. However, In the Reiki community, there has been some differing opinions as to what a Reiki treatment session should or should not include. Some practitioners are drawn to use crystals, essential oils, or drums and sound healing techniques along with Reiki. Then others might share intuitive or psychic information they receive. I’ve listed only a few additions to what may be incorporated into a Reiki session and I’m sure there are many others. So, depending who a person chooses to go to for a session, their experiences and idea of what Reiki is can be substantially different. When Usui practiced Reiki, none of these ‘add ons’ were included. But evolution happens with all things over time, and Reiki is no exception. Some would argue that the addition of other practices in a session is not true to Reiki and that perhaps it is best to keep Reiki practice as close to how Usui and Takata taught. Others say that the quality of the Reiki energy itself continues to evolve and our collective consciousness has grown in a deeper understanding of spirituality which allows us to practice in different ways compared to Usui and Takata. However, Reiki is the energy and it remains the foundation of all Reiki sessions. Is it wrong, disrespectful or complementary and valuable to offer Reiki treatment sessions with crystals, essential oils, sound therapy and/or intuitive messages? Personally, I’ve been on both sides of the fence as both a Reiki master and Reiki client. I can see value and complications with each approach. What about you? What are your thoughts on the subject and has your view changed over time? Please weigh in… #Reikichanges #Reiki #Reikiquestions

  • Another Reiki Blog?

I first came to Reiki out of curiosity in 1995. Over these 21 years, I’ve seen BIG changes. When I started, I couldn’t find books on Reiki and what would become the Reiki News Magazine was a flimsy black and white newsletter printing. Perception has shifted and acceptance of Reiki has grown exponentially with practitioners in every state and around the world. Hundreds of hospitals, medical facilities, hospice centers and veterinarians are now offering Reiki here in the United States. While Reiki popularity has increased, the practice now varies widely. This is probably due to the fact that what began as Reiki in Japan has been added to, reworked and changed into a large number of different Reiki-based trainings and practices. I have seen this as a topic of debate in the Reiki community but I’ve also seen a great respect between the various styles. Simply put, however, Reiki is universal life force energy that seems to know how to help you all by itself. This is the common thread that runs through the different Reiki styles I am aware of. So, I’m starting a blog because it’s a thing these days. I’m not really trendy but given how long I’ve paid attention and practiced Reiki, I think I can offer some ideas and perspectives some people may find interesting. I guess we’ll find out. I’m certainly no expert but I do have experience and practice self-Reiki daily. My own understanding of Reiki has evolved and deepened over the years, too. You are welcome to come along and we can chat about Reiki and related topics as they come up. My focus is putting Reiki out there in a mainstream way so more people can choose if it’s something to try. #Reikichanges #Whyblog
